Safety in confined spacesOne of the key drainage issues which must always be considered by contractors, installers and maintenance engineers is that of the health and safety of employees and operatives. OH&S defines a confined space as: “A confined space is a place which is substantially enclosed (though not always entirely) and where serious injury can occur from hazardous substances or conditions within the space or nearby (e.g. lack of oxygen)”. |
